Why are things so slow?
I have finally managed to work around craigslist's restrictions, and make Craig's Little Helper work with Internet Explorer! Sadly, there are still a number of things that IE just doesn't do well, which I don't have any control over.
You will probably notice that, using IE, the site takes longer than you'd like to open some cities. Also, when you open a specific ad, then press the 'back' button, your place in the list is not remembered. Aaand finally, the new stacked display mode is not supported by IE. Sadly I have no control over these 'features'. Fortunately, however, the solution is simple! Use the.. far faster Firefox browser! ;-)
Seriously though, you will notice an improvement. Approximately 20% of webizens currently use Firefox, and it is quickly gaining market share due to its many advantages. These include better security, enhanced features, and a number of free extensions. I guess we can add 'works with Craig's Little Helper' to that list now. :-)
Firefox is free to download (using the button below), and if you don't like it, or don't notice a marked speed improvement (which you will), it's easy to uninstall too.
